History of the School

Flowerlet English Academy – Thandla

Founded in 2004 by Most Rev. Bishop Chacko the Bishop of Jhabua Diocese.Fr. Joseph Jeerakathil SVD was the first manager of the school. Sr. Amluja PSA was the first principal of the school. The school was started by the Catholic Mission Society. Thandla . Jhabua Diocese. Inorder to provide education for the Tribal children. School believes that an educational institution is one where an individual is shaped for all time where students learn how to work together and be a functional part of the society.

School was started in a building which was inside the church compound- Thandla. Little by little the strength got raised. The space was not sufficient and also the diocese planned to make this school as one of the best school in Thandla with all the facilities . So the land in Machalai Mata which belonged to the Diocese was taken for the school purpose. Foundation stone was blessed by Most Rev. Bishop. Devprasad Ganawa .SVD.Bishop of Udaipur Diocese and laid by Mr & Mrs Walter and Hedwig Reiser our Benefactors on 10.02.2015. Regarding this project the management was grateful to Paten indischer Kinder , German Government and the Diocese of Jhabua.

The dream became true and the new building was inaugurated on 11.07.2016 by Most Rev. Bishop Basil Bhuriya SVD Jhabua Diocese, Most. Rev. Bishop Chacko SVD Indore diocese, Most Rev. Bishop Devprasad Ganawa Udaipur Diocese.Mr.Dayaram Solanki- Block Education Officer, Thandla .

Mrs. Sunitha Poonamchand ( Adhyasha , Nagar Parishad ,Thandla .) Sr. Celine Nirmala –Superior General FSPM.The school was taken from PSA sisters and it was handed over to FSPM sisters from Coimbatore - Tamil Nadu on 11. O7.2017 on agreement basis.

Children were shifted from the old building to the new building on 12.07.2016. The children were very happy to come to the new school. The new building consists of all the facilities like computer lab, Science labs, Maths Labs, Library , smart class , Ventilated class rooms, Good wash room facilities etc. The school also provides Bus facilities .
